Claris XTND is a Macintosh system extension which provides document format translation capabilities. With XTND present, XTND-savvy applications 'understand' formats that are supported by installed XTND 'Translators'. Translators live in the 'Claris Translators' folder which should reside in the System Extensions folder.
Claris XTND and ClickWorks™
ClickWorks™ utilizes XTND translators to import text files from many word processors. The text can be imported with original styling in tact.
To take full advantage of this capability, you may want to purchase translators that support your favorite word processor file formats. Translators for MS-Word® and WordPerfect® and other formats can be purchased from several vendors.

Installing Claris XTND
The Claris XTND system is composed of three items, all of which should reside in your System Extensions folder:
• Claris XTND System
• XTND Power Enabler
• Claris Translators folder
To install Claris XTND, double click on the ClickWorks Installer, select Continue, choose Install Claris XTND, and select Install. Claris XTND is automatically installed into your system Extensions folder.
